BRISTOL, CONN.: ESPN today announced the inaugural programming schedule for its new 3D channel launching this summer. ESPN 3D will sign on Friday, June 11 with coverage of the first of 25 games from the 2010 FIFA World Cup, with South Africa taking on Mexico at Soccer City in Johannesburg at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time
ESPN World Cup 2010 TV schedule: More than 1,100 hours of news and information about the World Cup. 70 commenters – 20 from South Africa. ESPN will provide comprehensive coverage of news and information for the FIFA World Cup 2010 from South Africa from June 11 to July 11, 2010.
Coverage will begin Friday, June 11, on ESPN, ESPN360.com and ESPN Mobile TV, with the tournament’s opening match at 9:30 a.m. from the Soccer City in Johannesburg, host country South Africa versus Mexico.
It all gets underway on Friday, June 11 and you won’t have to wait long for one of the most anticipated group matches of the tournament. Lock it in – Saturday, June 12 at 2.30pm … ABC has the call for the US v England match at Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg.
